We’ve been traveling for nearly four weeks now and we still have just under three weeks until it’s all over. We’ve realized that sometimes you have to do nothing. You don’t have to do something every day for six weeks nor should you feel obliged to. You’re allowed to be tired and you’re allowed to rest.
Sometimes you can eat breakfast at a hole-in-the-wall down the street before picking up an array of convenience store snacks and watching The Hangover: Part II. Sometimes you can take multiple naps, read a book in your Airbnb, and go down the treacherous YouTube hole. And sometimes you can have dinner at the place next door to the hole-in-the-wall before returning to watch Netflix before bed.
Please note: the previous night’s events had nothing to do with this day. None at all.
But anyways, listen to yourselves and your bodies and take it easy when you need to.
